roeJ says former Gaimin Gladiators players expect to go to court against organization

On the Bootcamp podcast, the former player said that the Canadian organization improperly terminated the contracts of several players.

According to Dust2.dk, Fredrik "roeJ" Jørgensen has told the Bootcamp podcast that he expects "to go to court" with Gaimin Gladiators over the termination of his contract, alongside several other players who formerly represented the org.
HLTV have reached out to Gaimin Gladiators for comment on roeJ's statements, and will update the story should the organization respond.
roeJ claims Gaimin Gladiators were looking for a way out of contracts with several players after the team had underperformed, and sought to misuse a clause in their contracts in order to terminate said contracts.

"[Gaimin Gladiators] found something they didn't feel we had maintained in the contract and hoped we would take care of ourselves and just get out," roeJ said. "We expect to go to court on that because the basis doesn't really hold up."
The clause was related to video content the team was supposed to deliver. Whilst roeJ seems to admit the team did not fulfil that obligation, he says the organization also did not follow the proper procedure for termination.
"We had to make some small content videos every week, where we just talk about our everyday life or whatever. We haven't done that for a few weeks during the time we've been there.
"These are also things that need to be maintained. If we don't do that, they have to give us a warning from management, and then there are some steps we have to go through before they can terminate based on that, and they haven't done that."
roeJ represented Gaimin Gladiators mid-way through 2024, playing for the team through until the start of the following year. The team struggled for success during his tenure, only briefly breaking into the top 50 of the HLTV world ranking.
